About The Elevate Festival
A Festival Designed for the Years That Shape Girls Most
The tween and early teen years are a powerful and often confusing time of change. Girls are developing their sense of identity, navigating new friendships, experiencing physical and emotional shifts, and increasingly encountering the pressures of social media and comparison.
The Elevate Festival was created to support girls during this important stage.
Held over two days at One Marylebone in London, the festival brings together hands-on workshops, expert-led talks and inspiring role models to help girls build the skills they need to navigate adolescence with confidence.
Every activity at Elevate is designed around five key pillars:
Confidence · Empathy · Emotional Intelligence · Resilience · Kindness
These foundations help girls develop the inner strength and self-awareness they need to grow into confident young women.
The Story Behind Elevate
The Elevate Festival grew out of the work of Elevate, a mentorship programme founded by educator and author Ramita Anand.
With more than twenty years of experience working in schools across Vancouver, New York and London, Ramita saw first-hand the challenges girls face as they move from childhood into adolescence.
Friendship dynamics, academic pressure, changing bodies and the influence of digital culture were leaving many girls feeling overwhelmed and unsure of themselves.
Ramita created Elevate to provide girls with the tools, language and support they need to understand themselves and navigate these years with confidence.
The Elevate Festival extends that mission — bringing girls and their families together for a shared experience of learning, creativity and connection.
Because when girls understand themselves and feel supported, they are far more likely to thrive.
What Makes The Elevate Festival Different
Elevate is not a traditional conference or lecture series.
It is a fully immersive experience designed specifically for girls aged 8–15 and their parents or carers.
Across the day, girls can take part in a wide range of interactive workshops — from skateboarding and graffiti art to music mixing, STEM activities, photography and podcasting.
Alongside these activities, leading experts host thoughtful discussions on topics shaping modern adolescence, including confidence, friendships, digital culture, body image and emotional wellbeing.
Some sessions are designed for girls to attend independently, while others invite parents and daughters to learn together — creating opportunities for conversation and connection that often continue long after the festival ends.
